Fall 2009 Letter from the President

Dear Friends,

    This year we celebrate the Centennial Anniversary of the Dobbs Ferry Public Library with special events, ads in the Enterprise, a free bookmark and a new limited edition library card.

    Please take some time to visit the Library this Fall to “check out” a host of programming for children and adults of all ages.  The Friends programming includes book clubs, lectures, musicales, teen programming and much more.

    The members of the Friends of the Library are all volunteers, and I can’t thank them enough for the generous donation of their time and efforts. Special thanks to Ginny and Joe Staluppi for their amazing Centennial design.

    Our local library is one of the most precious resources we have in town.

    Please consider joining the Friends by making a donation, becoming a member or volunteering your time at one of our upcoming events.
