Who we are....

The Friends are community residents like you who share a commitment to promoting and preserving a strong local library. 

The Friends meetings are usually held on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. in the Library.

What we do...

Our members raise money to augment the Library’s annual budget.  We do this through our membership dues and by hosting special events such as a Book Sale, our yearly Plant, Bake and Jewelry sale and an Annual Appeal.  We also manage an Endowment Fund that helps support the Library’s long term funding needs.

The Friends sponsor many of the library’s most popular programs:

• Summer reading program
• Children’s story programs
• Teen advisory group
• Author discussions
• Music and art presentations

To help maintain the quality of our collection, we also supplement the library’s acquisition budget.
